Can I share the course materials or my login with someone else?
No, the training is offered on a per-user basis. Your account is yours alone. You can purchase the training for someone else, but your account is reserved for one IP address only. Therefore, while the purchase can be made by someone else, only one person can access the content. Access by more than one person can lock you out of the content.
Why do I have multiple login accounts?
If you purchase more than one training product (for example, STG All-Access AND Group Guitar Launch Formula), there’s a chance you might have created a new login account for each one. This can get confusing if you log in with one account and don’t have access to the training you paid for under the other account. To get this fixed, please use the support form or send an email to support@startteachingguitar.com letting me know WHICH ACCOUNT YOU WANT TO USE…I’ll consolidate everything you purchased into that one account for you.
How can I get a photo to show up on my profile for the forums and the rest of the site?
I use a free service called “Gravatar” to display the profile photos. You will need to go to the Gravatar site and create a profile for yourself, and then add the photo you want to use to your profile. Make sure you set it up with the same email address you use here on our site! Once you do that, your photo will auto-magically appear in your profile here! Another benefit is that most of the blogs and forums on the web also use Gravatar, so your photo and info will get updated at most of the other sites you use, too.
How do I open the video files?
The videos are in the MP4 format, so you have a few options…you could use either of the following programs to play them:
Windows Media Player may not work out of the box, but if you install some additional software, you can get it to play MP4 files, as well. Click here for some instructions on how to do that.
The easiest solution is to just install iTunes (from Apple)…it includes QuickTime (which plays the MP4 files), and also gives you a good way to manage your music, podcasts, videos, etc. You can get the iTunes/QuickTime bundle by clicking here.
How do I open the PDF files?
That depends on what kind of computer you’re using. Mac users can use the built-in “Preview” application to open PDFs (just download and then double-click them). Windows users will need to download and install Adobe Reader to be able to read the PDF files, since Windows doesn’t have any built-in PDF support.
How do I open the mind map files?
You’ll need a special software program to open the mind map files. The files are in the .mm format, and can be opened using the Free Mind program. Free Mind is an open-source application and can be downloaded for free. You can also use any commercial mind mapping tool to open the files, such as Mindjet and my personal favorite, Mind Meister.
When I click to download the audio and video files, they just open in my browser window. How do I save them to my computer?
Here’s how to save the files to your local computer: If you’re a Windows user you need to RIGHT-CLICK on the download link and select “Save Link As”. If you’re a Mac user you do the same thing, except you DOUBLE-CLICK the download link.

Most of the materials I offer provide you with INFORMATION about how to be a better guitar teacher (the podcast, the training courses, etc.) but this monthly group is for people who want help with IMPLEMENTATION. In this small group of 10 people or less, everyone gets equal time to work on specific strategy for your teaching business with me. I’ll help you make sure your doing the right THINGS at the right TIME in the right ORDER to reach your goals, and the group will make sure you take ACTION on those things and give you accountability for getting them done. How do I cancel my STG All-Access membership?
Your STG All-Access membership automatically renews every month, and your credit card or PayPal account will be billed automatically. If you need to cancel for some reason, please use the support form or send an email to support@startteachingguitar.com and I’ll take care of it for you.
