There are lots of business-related books out there you could read to improve your teaching studio, but one of the best books I’ve ever read is a funky little book with short chapters and full-page artwork called Rework by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson, the founders of 37Signals, Basecamp and Ruby On Rails. It’s quite possibly one of the best business books of the decade and it contains dozens of unconventional, irreverent principles that can not only make your teaching studio successful, but can also make it exceptional.
In this episode, I’ll take some of the big ideas from Rework and unpack them a little bit, applying them to guitar teachers in particular. I’ll also share some of my favorite quotes from the book and hopefully inspire you to buy your own copy, read it, apply some of the principles and reap the rewards. Get ready for a mindset shift that can kick you out of the rut your business may be in at the moment and put you on the path to some serious positive change. Listen in to hear why this is my favorite business book of all time!
