Advertising and marketing can be a challenge for any small business. The good news is that there are really only three kinds of marketing you need to learn about: online marketing, referral marketing and offline marketing. While you’re waiting for your website and referral program to kick in (which can take some time), there are lots of ways you can promote your teaching studio using offline advertising to attract more students and build momentum.
In this episode I’ll explain how simple and easy offline marketing can be. You don’t need to hire a marketing firm or spend thousands of dollars to promote your business; a few simple strategies and a little bit of cash is all you really need. I’ll also give you some specific strategies from my upcoming book with Desi Serna called “How To Teach Guitar” that you can use to advertise offline more effectively. They can be a great way to put a more effective spin on the same old tactics everyone uses that never seem to work.
